Ride Cincinnati
June 1st, 2008 by jim Posted in BikesHeidi, Lukas, and I went on an adventure today. We participated in the annual Ride Cincinnati bike ride for breast cancer research. We chose the 18.4 mile ride, which was pretty ambitious considering neither of us had ridden our bikes in quite some time. Oh, and we just bought a trailer for Lukas to ride in too, so we had a little practice riding with that on Saturday. It was a beautiful morning, we finished the entire ride, and it was for a great cause, so we feel like we really accomplished something today! Lukas got a little crabby towards the end of the ride, but I think it was because the sun was in his eyes. Otherwise, he really seems to enjoy the trailer, and we’re looking forward to using it a lot more this summer!
