The Flying Pig Marathon

I’m running in the 4-person relay in the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon tomorrow. In the spirit of the marathon weekend, we signed Lukas up too. Ok, he is just crawling, so obviously 26.2 miles would be a little much for him. Plus he gets distracted by bugs and leaves and other stuff on the ground, so that would take him a long time…

We had him in the 1 and under “Piglet Diaper Dash”. They set up some mats inside a fenced off area (the “piglet pen”?), and had heats of infants crawling to the end. It was pretty cute. It was pretty wet though too, so we got the heck out of there as soon as Lukas finished his lap and got his medal. Of course, he had to stop several times to pick up blades of grass and other junk on the mats.
